“Downtown Brownsburg will become a true destination”

Brownsburg, Indiana, August 22, 2014– InterDesign artist’s renderings of the new “Brownsburg Town Center” will be unveiled to the public at Eaton Hall in Brownsburg, Indiana on August 28th from 6 PM to 7 PM. Eaton Hall is part of Brownsburg Town Hall and is located at the north end of the facility at 61 North Green Street.

Bolt Redevelopment and InterDesign, worked together to communicate their vision for a vibrant town center featuring retail, restaurants, office and housing space. “InterDesign worked for many hours with their artist to create visually stunning renderings of the new Brownsburg Town Center project. The level of detail and the subtle Brownsburg nuances are just amazing. I can’t wait for everyone to see the future of downtown Brownsburg!” said Rick Bolt of Bolt Redevelopment. “Being Brownsburg residents ourselves, we are planning to redevelop our property in a manner that will help create the kind of downtown that Brownsburg has always wanted. Our goal is to revitalize the area and give residents a reason to come downtown instead of driving through our downtown on their way elsewhere.”

Bolt, a longtime Brownsburg resident, has also been working with the Town of Brownsburg to determine the type of facilities that can be created in accordance with the vision of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. With those criteria in hand, InterDesign developed a conceptual design for Bolt to determine what is feasible for the property and what will also benefit the Brownsburg community.

“Providing sufficient parking, improved vehicular traffic flow and a pedestrian friendly streetscape are of critical importance to the success of this development,” stated InterDesign Architect and Project Manager, Andy Costlow.

Mr. Costlow is one of InterDesign’s lead architectural designers and specializes in municipal and higher education design. Founded in 1975, InterDesign has designed facilities all over the state of Indiana and several surrounding states as well. Locally in Brownsburg, InterDesign created the master plan and new facility architectural design for Brownsburg’s Connection Pointe Christian Church. They are also the architects on the large new large Trader’s Point Christian Church in Whitestown. InterDesign is well known for designing recreational facilities, higher education, K-12 and senior living facilities.

Bolt Redevelopment, specializing in community redevelopment strategies and growth, owns significant property on the east side of State Road 267 (Green Street) located between State Road 136 and 56th Street. This land will become the site of the new “Brownsburg Town Center.” The property is on the east side of SR 267. The former parish property, on the west side, is the new location of the Brownsburg Parks Department, and is intended as the future location of a new community recreation center.

“InterDesign has been in business for 40 years designing architecture all over Indiana. After meeting with InterDesign’s staff I realized that they are the professionals who can see our vision through,” commented Rick Bolt, “I have seen many of their past projects and am delighted to have professionals with their experience on board.”
